Hifair™ V Reverse Transcriptase (Glycerol-free)

Reverse transcriptase belongs to a class of DNA polymerases, which can polymerize dNTPs to synthesize cDNA chains. The occurrence of this process depends on two major activities of reverse transcriptase: DNA polymerase activity and RNase H activity. The series of Hifair® reverse transcriptase from Yeasen is a reverse transcriptase modified on the basis of M-MLV Reverse Transcriptase. Its thermal stability is greatly improved, and it can withstand the reaction temperature of 60 ℃. It is suitable for reverse transcription of RNA templates with complex secondary structures. . At the same time, the Hifair® series of reverse transcriptases lack RNaseH activity, which improves their elongation ability and can synthesize up to 19.8 kb cDNA. In addition, the enzyme has enhanced template affinity, making it ideal for reverse transcription of small amounts of a template and low-copy genes.

Product description

Hifai™ V Reverse Transcriptase is an updated version of Hieff™ M-MLV (H-) Reverse Transcriptase obtained through genetic engineering technology. It has higher cDNA synthesis ability, thermal stability and reaction temperature limit (up to 60°C) than Hieff™ M-MLV (H-) Reverse Transcriptase. The synthesized cDNA product is up to 10 kb. Hifair™ V Reverse Transcriptase enhances the affinity of the templates and is suitable for reverse transcription of RNA templates with complex secondary structure or low copy genes.
