Reverse transcription is a process of synthesis of DNA by reverse transcriptase, which is on RNA as template. The reverse transcription process first uses the mature mRNA that has been cleaved to remove the introns as a template to synthesize the RNA/DNA hybrid double strand, then hydrolyzes the RNA strand, and then synthesizes the DNA double strand using the remaining DNA single strand as a template. Yeasen provides various types reagents used in reverse transcription, such as reverse transcriptase, 1st strand cDNA synthesis kit, RT-gDNA digestion supermix, and so on.
