N-2 supplement are chemically defined additives. N-2 supplement is primarily recommended for the growth and expression of anaphase neurons of neuroblastoma and peripheral nervous system (PNS) and central nervous system (CNS) origin. This product is available at 100X working concentration and can be used with serum-free neuronal basal medium or DMEM/F12 medium supplemented with growth factors such as bFGF and EGF.

60706ES is N-2 supplement, serum free, 100X. 60713ES is N-2 supplement, serum free,100X(animal origin-free) that can avoid the safety risk of exogenous preparations related to animal ingredients.

This product should be protected from light at -25~-15℃ for 2 years.

Instructions 

The N-2 supplement is 100X concentration. Dilute to 1 with basal medium (such as Neurobasal) before using. If preparing 100 mL of medium: 1 mL of N-2 supplement (100X) was added to 99 mL of basal medium. Add to the medium at a final concentration of 1% (volume ratio). The prepared medium was kept from 2 to 8℃ for 1 week.
